Now Hiring - Healthcare Group Event Sales Consultant in Thornton, CO

Job Description:

The Group Sales Consultant is responsible for closing event inquiries through phone calls, emails, and online inquiries. Group Sales Consultants coordinate with the Senior Sales Consultant and operations team to ensure world class event execution for our groups.

Essential Functions:

• Respond to all event inquiries and convert inquiries into booked events in a timely fashion
• Clearly communicate to prospective clients the features and benefits of The Summit’s venue and event offerings
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals
• Work with clients to plan and coordinate details of events
• Has a full understanding of the different types of events, such as corporate events, birthday parties and other social events and is able to make appropriate recommendations to accommodate the needs of each.
• Create and manage all client data through our database
• Manage relationship with clients throughout the event planning process and maintain relationships
• Ensure successful event execution by our operations team
• Responsible for prospecting new business through cold calls, LinkedIn and client database
• Occasionally working trade shows/tabling events promoting group events and the overall business
• Administrative duties as assigned by location

• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience:

• High School Diploma: Required
• Associate Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or Hospitality:
• Excellent guest relations skills.
• Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
• Experience with CRM’s.
• Excellent multi-tasking abilities & phone etiquette.

Pay Range: $15/hr - $20/hr
